InAct is a 2-day intensive problem-solving workshop with interdisciplinary collaborations, focusing on technological solutions and policy suggestions built on analytical approach towards humanitarian issues. We envision a culture that uses experiential learning as a force for good to create a positive impact on the communities. The 30 daylong event provides novel minds a platform to innovate and create positive impact on the communities with ‘Expert on Call’ supervision.

InAct is a 2-day intensive workshop involving interdisciplinary collaboration of students to contribute towards social innovation using technology for the humanitarian challenge proposed. After the screening, the final selected teams will be assigned a respective domain expert. They will guide the teams towards a solution on the humanitarian challenges provided by THE Port and the domain experts. This month-long preparatory phase will culminate into a 48 hours final hackathon to build working prototypes and tangible solutions.Inspired from THE Port’s philosophy of “maximizing the chances” that the project continues after the hackathon.
